Ingredients - tomato concentrate, bell papers, garlic, vegetable oil, chilli peppers, salt, spices and nothing else.
Keep refrigerated for up to 5 days, or freeze for later use for up to 12 weeks.
Harissa
North African paste origionaly made to help preserve meats in a hot region of the world and at an era preceeding refregartion. As such the main ingridiants are lots of strong chillies , garlic, salt and oil to bind it all together. Our harissa paste isnt made as strong and has a few additional ingridiants. I would describe it as medium spicy.
It is abselutly delicius and very versitile.
Use as a spread for sandwiches & toasties, and seasoning of Vegetables, fish, chicken & meat dishes - from soups & stews to roasts...
